2013 NAC Regatta

Once again, RNAS Culdrose has hosted a successful NAC Regatta at its Sailing Centre in Falmouth. 2 fleets (Fold in 2000s and Silver in Bosuns) took to the water, in all some 14 boats. The weather played its part - on Monday it was a case of "now you have some wind, now you don't, now you do again, but with a shift and not as much....! A challenge for the race officer and sailors alike, but resulting in some close competition. Unfortunately, thick fog on Tuesday caused an early cancellation - but after a very social BBQ (thanks to RNSA for funding) perhaps that was no bad thing!! As ever, our thanks to Graham Williams and his team for their work in arranging style event, getting the additional boats and running it over the 2 days. ....
