Forth celebrate the 75th Anniversary

On a beautiful 5th June Forth Branch boats anchored off Inchcolm Abbey to celebrate RNSA's 75th anniversary.

Fortune smiled that day with blazing sunshine, sea breezes which allowed for spinnaker runs there and back and even the flypast of a Eurofighter. Yachts present included Tuesday's Child and Aquarius (both from Aberdour), Syrinx (visiting from JSSC) and a collection of day boats, dinghies and cats from Port Edgar sailed by Branch Members: in all a total of some dozen boats. Toasts were drunk to RNSA and the next 75 years. Our thanks go to Adam Ranklin who organised us all and acted as Sailing OOD - and of course the RAF for the flypast.
