New Boat Hoist for Medway Branch

The Medway members celebrated the arrival of their own boat hoist in July. Following weight testing and proving trials several yachts are now ashore at the Upnor Hard Base.

A 40ft container has been fitted out as a workshop, lighting and workbench installed and a generator to provide power provided. Photo shows the first yacht to be brought ashore - a Westerly Pentland, owned by the Branch Captain.
