Sydney - Hobart Race 2009

Call for crew members for the RN entry in the 2009 Sydney - Hobart Race

The RN Team will be entering a Challenge 67 in this years Sydney - Hobart Race. The race starting on Boxing Day from Sydney Harbour is one of the foremost offshore events in world yachting.
Volunteers to fill berths in the Navy Team should complete a Trans-Globe application by 1st February (Time is short). Potential crew members must be available to sail in the qualifying race which will take place in the Channel from Gosport over the period 4 - 10 May. This race will also be the 2009 Services Offshore Race. The selected crew will fly out to Australia 18th/19th December 2009 returning early in January 2010.
Crew selection will be made on 9th February.
