The menu, at £15 per person is as follows:
- 1x8oz Sirloin Steak, 1xPiece Chicken and 1xJumbo Sausage (all three!) per person Hot Buttered New Potatoes Seasonal Green Salad of Leaves, Cucumber, Cherry Tomatoes and Celery or
- Fish in Foil Parcel with Seasoning (must be ordered in advance)
- A vegetarian option can be provided (must be ordered in advance)
- Pudding will be Cheese Cake/Gateaux/Cheese and Biscuits
All this for £15 per head to include a welcome glass of wine, beer or a soft drink!
The Centre is situated on a very beautiful, very quiet, part of the River Thames underneath a wooded chalk cliff and facing, on the other side of the river, a long stretch of water meadows. The Centre stands in its own grounds and has about 400 yards of river frontage. It also boasts a large modern clubhouse and bar (at pretty much mess prices!), a full-length balcony overlooking the river and also good indoor catering facilities - so, if the weather is not suitable for outside, we can BBQ and eat indoors whilst looking out at the River!
The Centre is located on the A4155 Marlow to Henley road between the two towns. Car parking and boat mooring facilities (both free!) are excellent and public transport is also no trouble with the High Wycombe/Reading bus service stopping literally at the end of the access lane.
