75th Anniversary Solent Branch Osborne House Rally

Sofia Hawkes of Blue Moon aged 3 and Maurice Owens aged 87 of Old Possum enjoy each others company. Now in its 14th year, the Portsmouth Branch Rally to East Cowes Marina to enjoy the music of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra appears to remain as popular as ever, with over 30 yachts taking part.

From Mike Highwood - “Tokenkay” This event is quite different to many RNSA activities in that it is very much a family occasion with some yachts having three generations on board. The age range, this year, between the youngest and oldest taking part was an amazing 84 years! As well as the regulars, a “useful” feature of this event is that it attracts some people to their first RNSA event, where they fall into the ever welcoming clutches of our Branch Cruising Chairman, Peter Stonest ....
